SCOPE OF SERVICES: 

Applying international standards to local knowledge, AKAZIM conducts a broad-based practice with integrated specialist skills applied across a wide spectrum of legal services. The Firm encourages its lawyers to be familiar with both contentious and noncontentious aspects of law practice since most legal problems are best addressed by lawyers who understand both the transactional and litigation aspects of legal issues. Being able to approach a problem from all angles and deliver incisive advice enables the Firm to provide superior and cost-effective legal services to its clients. The Firm possesses the capacity and capability to effectively undertake complex legal matters and address critical legal issues encompassing legal research, consultancy, formulating strategies, negotiations, drafting, representation, and dispute resolution. On the dispute resolution side, the Firm handles mediation, arbitration, and litigation. The Firm conducts cases at all judicial tiers: from the lower courts at the District level, the High Courts at the Provincial level, to the Supreme Court of Pakistan at the Federal level, as well as semi-judicial tribunals and quasi-judicial arms of regulatory authorities. All lawyers of the Firm are licensed to practice law in Pakistan. The Firm also offers all the services of an inhouse legal department to entrepreneurs, businesses, institutions, and organizations that cannot afford (or do not want) to maintain a legal department. Additionally, the Firm acts as an additional resource to those entrepreneurs, businesses, institutions, and organizations that do employ in-house lawyers.
